Akai Hokora I - limited edition giclée print

Akai Hokora I - limited edition giclée print
The Akai series each have an element in red (akai) capturing the neutral scene of stone and wood at sacred sites in Japan. Akai Hokora was captured on the path leading to Kasugataisha Jinja in Nara. The original was painted with Japanese sumi ink stick and red ink stick. These sumi ink sticks are created from soot and scrapped on an ink stone with water to create the ink.
Each limited edition giclee print on bamboo paper is hand numbered, labeled, and signed with my mark. There will only ever be 15 prints made.
