For the beauty of the natural world

Spring is here for us in the northern hemisphere. The weather is warming up and with it are more opportunities to get outside and enjoy the natural world, rain or shine.

We opened our new year with our annual hike of Nokogiriyama and over this last month or so I have spotted the elusive yellow plum blossom among the snowdrops, springs, greens, magnolias, and now cherry blossoms.

Getting outside for a quick stroll or hike in the fresh air refreshes the soul. Besides the positive impact on our physical and mental health, taking time to appreciate the natural world helps us remember why we strive to live more sustainably with small changes to all aspects of our lives. It comes down to a vested interest in ensuring we have a beautiful natural world tomorrow and the next day.
